PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING OR PURCHASING ANY TICKETS FOR ONE OF OUR EVENTS

What’s in these terms and conditions?

These terms and conditions tell you everything you need to know about registering for one of our events and/or purchasing tickets for one of our events advertised on our site, https://peak.idloom.events/ (Peak Event).

Who we are and how to contact us

https://peak.idloom.events/ is a site operated by Peak Ai Limited (“Peak”, “us” and “our”). Peak is a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 09307701 and we have our registered office at Floor 12, Neo Building, Charlotte Street, Manchester, England, M1 4ET which is also its main trading address. Peak’s VAT number is 199 092 363.

By registering and/or purchasing tickets you agree to these Terms

By registering and/or purchasing tickets for entry into a Peak Event you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions (Terms) and that you agree to comply with them.
In addition, there are other terms that may apply to you. These terms and conditions refer to the following additional terms which also apply to our Peak Events and along with these Terms, the following together form the contract between you and us:

We may also provide you with additional terms of the venue where the Peak Event is taking place which your attendance is conditional on.

If you are registering as a representative of a business, you confirm that you have authority

If you register for a Peak Event as a representative of a company or other business organisation, you confirm that you have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of that business organisation. You shall also ensure participant(s) from that business organisation attending the Peak Event are made aware of and shall be bound by these Terms.

We may amend these terms and conditions

We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Every time you wish to register, purchase tickets for and/or attend a Peak Event, please check these terms and conditions to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply at that time. These terms and conditions were most recently updated on 12 April 2022.

We reserve the rights to cancel or make changes to a Peak Event

We reserve the right to change, cancel or reschedule any Peak Event at our sole discretion at any time and make no guarantees as to the content, speaker line-up, features or attendance by other participants or vendors which may vary from those advertised on our site or on any other websites, newsletters or communications from us which you may receive from time to time. Any changes, cancellation or rescheduling may be made after you have paid for tickets. Your rights in these circumstances are limited to those set out here.

We only accept ticket orders when we’ve checked them and we may reject ticket orders

All registrations to Peak Events are subject to availability and you may not be able to purchase the number of tickets you would like if we have sold out.
Once we have accepted your order, you will receive an order confirmation with a QR code for your ticket at the email address you have provided. Please ensure you keep this email safe and bring it with you to the Peak Event for admission.

Payment can be made by credit or debit card

Payments for all Peak Events can be made by credit or debit card using our payment provider whose own terms and conditions will apply. The price is payable in the currency displayed at checkout. We are not liable for any additional credit card or bank charges you may incur, or for any exchange rate differences.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT or any other applicable taxes unless expressed otherwise.

Your right to cancel

You have a legal right to change your mind about your purchase and receive a refund of what you paid for any tickets. If you change your mind about tickets for a Peak Event, you have 14 days after the day we confirm we have accepted your order to apply for a refund.
You are able to cancel your registration to any Peak Event at any time by amending the details on our site. You will receive email confirmation of any successful changes.

Where you have cancelled your registration within the 14 day period referred to above, we will provide you with a full refund (less any booking or credit card fee). Your ticket(s) will automatically be invalidated and you will not be permitted to attend the event, nor will any other person using that ticket.

Ticket resales, transfers and lost tickets

You may not re-sell or offer for resale any Peak Event tickets. Resale or attempted resale will render the ticket void.
If you wish to transfer your ticket to another representative within your organisation, the information of the new attendee must be sent to Events@Peak.ai at least 5 day before the Event for our approval. If we accept the transfer of the ticket, we will confirm this to you in writing at the email address you have provided. The new attendee you have identified will be permitted to use the ticket, provided that they agree to comply with these Terms in relation to their attendance at the Peak Event, but the contract for the purchase of the ticket remains between us and you.
Please note that once a ticket has been used to enter a Peak Event, it can no longer be transferred to another person.
We will only replace lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets if proof of purchase can be verified and you give reasonable notice before the Peak Event to Events@peak.ai. We may charge a reasonable fee for the replacement of tickets.

Changes to Peak Events

We have the right to alter or vary any Peak Event, which may include (by way of example only and without limitation) changes to the, content and/or the line-up of speakers, changes to individual attendees and vendors, changes to the start, end and schedule times of the Peak Event and a change of venue (to a venue within the same region). You will not be entitled to any refund in any of these circumstances.
We also have the right to postpone or cancel all or any part of a Peak Event. If a Peak Event is cancelled or postponed by us, we will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you using the contact details you provide during your booking as soon as reasonably possible.
The price you have paid for your ticket to a Peak Event is non-refundable and you remain liable for the full cost except where we cancel or postpone a Peak Event.
If we cancel a Peak Event, we are only liable to refund you the amount that you have paid for your ticket(s) (excluding any booking or card payment fee) and will not be liable or responsible for any other costs or expenses that you have incurred in relation to your attendance at the Peak Event.
If we decide to postpone a Peak Event, your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you notify us within any deadline that we provided to you that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you will be able to cancel your booking and obtain a refund for the amount for which the ticket was purchased (excluding any booking or card payment fee). If you fail to notify us within the specified deadline that you are unable to attend the rescheduled Peak Event, we will deem this to be a reconfirmation of your booking for the rescheduled Peak Event, and you will not be able to claim any refund.
To claim a refund, please follow the instructions we provide to you at the time or apply in writing to: eEvents@Peak.ai within 28 days of the original scheduled date of the Peak Event. We may require proof of purchase for any refund which you claim. Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial booking. Unless required by law, neither us nor our employees, consultants, contractor, agents or other representatives will be liable for any consequential losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation or postponement of the Peak Event, including (by way of example only and without limitation) any travel and accommodation expenses.

Information which you are responsible for providing to us

When registering for any Peak Event, you must provide us with accurate and complete registration details at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to that information (including, by way of example only, your email address) by updating your details on the relevant section of our site or contacting us at events@Peak.ai
It is your responsibility to inform us of any special access requirements or dietary requirements at the time of registration, and in any event no later than 2 working days before the Peak Event. Any dietary requests made less than 2 working days before a Peak Event may not be available.

COVID-19

You acknowledge that a Peak Event may be held during a time at which one or more Government, State or Local Authority directions or regulations may be in force regarding the number of persons attending an event, the holding of the Peak Event itself or certain conditions around the manner in which it may be held and necessary protective measures including (by way of example), social distancing.
If that is the case, then the number of persons permitted to be in or around the Peak Event may be affected and we may be required to or decide that it is appropriate in the circumstances to cancel or postpone the Peak Event or reduce the number of persons who may attend the Peak Event, in which case you may receive a refund in accordance with these Terms.
You agree to comply with all Government, State or Local Authority directions, orders, regulations and mandates (as may be applicable in the region that the Peak Event is being held) relevant to attending such event, which may be in place at the time of the Peak Event and which may be a condition of entry or participation in the Peak Event.
You also agree to comply with any COVID-19 policy that we may communicate to you from time to time, whether stipulated by us or the Peak Event venue.


Conditions of entry to and attendance at a Peak Event

You will abide by the rules, procedures and policies of the venue which are available at the venue including in relation to health and safety. Such rules, procedures and policies may be changed at the venue’s discretion as well as any other terms or conditions which may be included in the booking confirmation, with the ticket or provided to you up to the date of the Event.
You may be required to submit to a search of your person and/or possessions before entering the Peak Event.
You must not use abusive or foul language or obscene or indecent gestures, including (by way of example only) threatening, abusive or insulting language directed to any person by reason of their colour, race, gender, sexuality, nationality or ethnic origin; behave in a manner which could be dangerous to yourself or others; obstruct doorways, gangways, access routes, entrances, exits or stairways; or climb onto buildings, walls, fences, structures or fittings at the venue.
You may be denied entry into, or removed from, the Event without refund where we have reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms or the rules and regulations of the venue or any reasonable instructions given to you by an official at the Peak Event, or if you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired, behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially dangerous or which does not conform to the general standards of the Peak Event or the venue or if you are adversely affecting others’ enjoyment of the Peak Event,
Your admission, attendance and participation at the venue and the Peak Event is at your own risk. Neither us, nor the Peak Event venue, nor the Peak Event management organisation, nor any of our or their employees, consultants, contractors, agents or other representatives will be held liable for any loss, cost, expense, injury or damage which you may suffer at the venue and/or in connection with the Peak Event to the fullest extent permitted by law. Neither we, nor the Peak Event venue or Peak Event management organisation has any responsibility for lost or stolen property. All property which you take into and/or leave at any Peak Event venue is at your own risk.
All participants at a Peak Event must be over the age of 18, unless specified otherwise.
If you arrive late to a Peak Event, you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the Event.

The following items are not permitted within any Peak Event venue – illegal substances, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, political or offensive materials, alcohol (which is not licenced to sold by a vendor at the Peak Event venue) and such other items as we, the venue, the Peak Event management organisation or any of our representatives may deem to be prohibited from time to time. Any person found in possession of such items may be refused entry into, or escorted from the venue.

Peak Event passes

Where you are provided with an event pass before or on entry to a Peak Event, you may be required to provide evidence of your identity for your pass to be issued to you.
You and any other participants from your organisation must keep their event pass on them at all times during their attendance at the Peak Event and we and our representatives reserve the right to refuse attendance or re-entry to the venue to participants who fail to produce a pass when requested.
If your Peak Event pass is lost, misplaced, stolen or forgotten a replacement Peak Event pass will only be issued to you at our sole discretion or that of our representatives and may be subject to a reasonable fee. If you are found to have falsified, swapped or shared a Peak Event pass, you may be required to leave the Peak Event.

Images, recordings and intellectual property belong to us

You may not use cameras, video or other recording equipment for commercial purposes during the Peak Event and you may not be permitted to take any such equipment into the venue without our prior written consent. Such equipment may be confiscated if use in breach of these Terms is reasonably suspected.
Any images, photographs or recordings may not be sold or used commercially without our prior written consent. We own and reserve all intellectual property rights in any images or recordings taken within the venue at the time of the Peak Event.

All intellectual property rights in or arising out of a Peak Event are owned by us or our third party exhibitors or speakers and nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in them. You may not use our intellectual property rights in any way without our prior written consent.
If you would like to request our permission to republish, reprint or use for any other purpose any Peak Event content or our trademarks referred to below, please contact the Peak Events Team at events@Peak.ai.

Our trademarks

The name “Peak” and our logo

are UK registered trade marks of Peak AI Limited. The AltitudeX logo

is an unregistered trade mark of Peak AI Limited. You are not permitted to use any of our trademarks without our prior written consent.

You consent to and grant us a licence to use any images taken of you in photographs or videos at any Peak Event

You acknowledge and agree that we, our employees, vendors and contractors may take photographs and/or videos at the Peak Event, which may include you.

If you do not wish your photograph to be taken at an Event please notify the photographer during the Peak Event and we will use reasonable endeavours to comply with your request.
You consent to and grant us a royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, transferable sub-licensable licence to use any such actual or simulated images or any element of those images for any purpose whatsoever. Those images may may be used in any and all media for marketing and promotional purposes including on our websites and those of our affiliates, social media channels and in print without any further approval from you or making any payment to you. You acknowledge that we are the exclusive owner of all rights in such images.

Opinions expressed by speakers and contributors to Peak Events are their own and not Peak’s

Any speakers or contributors which appear in the line-up at any Peak Event are responsible for the contents of their presentations. It is our policy to give the fullest freedom to those speakers and contributors to express their opinions at Peak Events. The opinions expressed by any speakers, contributors, partners, sponsors and supporters do not necessarily represent our views or opinions and we cannot be held responsible for them.

How we may use your personal information

We will comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in relation to the personal information that you provide to us at the time of registering for a Peak Event and purchasing any tickets. How we use any personal data you give us is set out in our Privacy Notice here

Liability and Legal Enforcement of these terms

Nothing in these Terms which cannot be legally limited including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You agree that your attendance at any Peak Event and your use of any of the content is at your sole risk and responsibility and acknowledge that all content is provided “as is” and “as available”. Any Peak Event content is made available for your general information and any advice, opinion, statement or other information forming part of that content is not intended for trading or to address your particular requirements. The Peak Event content does not constitute any form of advice, recommendation or arrangement by us (including, without limitation, investment advice or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, financial product or other investment) and is not intended to be relied upon by users in making (or refraining from making) any specific investment or other decisions. Appropriate independent advice should be obtained before making any such decision.
We shall not be liable for any claim which you, your representatives or any third party may bring against us arising out of or in relation to these Terms or a Peak Event, for any loss which was not foreseeable at the time that your purchased your tickets to the Peak Event.
We shall not be liable to you for any circumstances which are outside of our reasonable control that may affect the delivery of a Peak Event in accordance with these Terms. Those circumstances might include (by way of example only and without any limitation), a fire, flood, riot, natural disaster, Government, State or Local Law restriction or guidance.
Our total liability to you shall not in any circumstances be more than the total amount of the price that was paid or payable by you under these Terms.
If and to the extent there is any conflict between these Terms and any terms which are specific to the Peak Event which you are attending and which have been provided at the time of booking (Specific Event Terms), those Specific Event Terms shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by English law and irrespective of your location in the world, we and you both agree that the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claims.
If a court finds any provision of these Terms to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms shall still apply.
